Privacy

AbsoTravel does not collect personal data: the site has no sign-up, forms, cookies, counters or third-party scripts. Every file — pages, fonts, photos — comes from our own server; your browser does not contact other sites.

What is kept in your browser

Saved places, the trip plan, checklist ticks and the sum in the budget converter are kept in browser storage (localStorage) on your device. They are not sent to the server. You can delete them with the “Clear all” button in “My trips” or by clearing the site’s data in your browser.

So that the site works offline, the browser keeps the pages and photos you have opened in its cache.

Server logs

Like any web server, our server in Moscow sees the technical details of each request (address, time, page) and keeps logs for a limited time to guard against failures and attacks. We do not use them for tracking and do not pass them on to third parties.

Emails

If you email us (for example, to send a story), the team receives your message. We use your address only to reply and publish a story only with your consent.
