Stories
Community stories
First-hand trip stories from Absolute members: how to get there, what surprised them, what it cost, what to do differently.
There are no stories or reviews here yet — and we do not make them up. The first ones will appear when community members send theirs. A person reads every story, and it goes live only with the author’s consent.
How to send a story
Place
A place from the atlas or a new one — what matters is that the story is about your own trip.
Text
How to get there, what to see, what it cost and when, what was missing. Half a page of honest experience is worth more than five pages of praise.
Photos
Your own photos only. People in the shot — with their consent.
Send it by email. We reply, go over the details with you and show you the text before it is published.
The email goes to the team’s inbox. Your address and name are not published without your consent.
Story rules
- Your own experience only: no retelling, no advertising.
- Prices and rules come with the date of the trip: a year later they may be different.
- No judging people, countries or nations — the story is about places and the road.
- No one else’s photos or texts.
- Publishing is free and only with the author’s consent; a story can be removed at any time.
What to write about
The most useful things for those who go next.
The road
Connections, borders, trains, ferries: what took longer than expected.
Money
Where the card worked, where it was cash only, how much a day took.
Season
What the weather was like and which month suits such a trip best.
